Succeed in missions, look after other freelancers and defend the freelancer community against turncoats and opportunists. Keep mission casualties low, be honest in (most of) your dealings and maintain at least a veneer of professionalism. Moving from 3 to 4 or 5 requires a little more work and some actions that go above and beyond the expected normal behaviour. It is also possible to buy your way to a better reputation. This is a risky route and can end in disaster, but if you want to try it speak to a referee. Succeed in missions, look after other freelancers and defend the freelancer community against turncoats and opportunists.  +If you hit 0 reputation and are expelled from the Bar your character is now essentially unplayable. They will not be able to access missions, enter the Bar or use credits. It might be possible to keep playing with support from other characters but it is highly unlikely you will be able to access events fully.
