 |<fc #009b00>**Warding**</fc>|The ritualist must walk 5 circles around the target structure with lit sage. At the end of each circle they must repeat the phrase "Voluntate mea hoc aedificium ab omni malo protego", tear out a sprig from the sage and drop it on the ground. At the end of the 5th circle, repeat the phrase as before but make a blood sacrifice whilst speaking.|No-one within the building can harm anyone else within it. The building cannot be damaged by fire, by earthquake or by wind.| |<fc #009b00>**Warding**</fc>|The ritualist must walk 5 circles around the target structure with lit sage.  +|<fc #009b00>**Second Sight**</fc>|Place a clear glass of purest water on the bare earth. Meditate over the water for ten minutes. Speak the phrase "Oculus meus tertius omnia quae videri possunt videat" and drop two matches into the water.|If the matches touch or cross each other then the evil eye is watching over the site, and there may be harmful magic at work in the area. If the matches do not touch the site is pure.|
 +|<fc #009b00>**Witch Sight**</fc>|Create a effigy of yourself. It must be recognisable as you to anyone that sees it and you must incorporate the hair of a four-legged animal into the effigy, intertwined with your own hair. Hide the effigy on your target or in their personal effects. It must stay in its hiding place for more than five hours, but less than ten and must not be discovered or spoken of.|When retrieved, if the hair is still attached to the effigy then your target is confirmed as a witch or other magical practitioner. If the hair has been cast off or cannot be found, your target is mundane. Caution is advised, for if discovered the effigy may be used by an evil magician to hex you.|

Move anti-clockwise to face west. Speak the phrase "spiritus exaudi me". Move anti-clockwise to face south. Speak the phrase "spiritus exaudi me". Move back to your starting position in the east and step into the centre of the circle you have traced out with your steps. Wrap an object belonging to your target in 5 tight loops of twine, rope or string. As you complete each loop repeat the phrase "alligare te" getting louder with each loop.|The target bound by this ritual can cast no magic upon you or your belongings for six moons.|
