A collection of small pills of multiple colours were found by Juan, and some were consumed. They are known to have a mild euphoric effect not believed to be chemically addictive.
Dr. Evie recently analysed the green version of these pills. First analysis suggests these are simply a generic narcotic that induces a period of euphoria.
However further testing and computer modelling reveals that the pill also makes a very minor edit to the DNA of the imbiber. This edit isn’t harmful as far as anyone can tell, but if you know what you’re looking for the DNA edit is very easy to scan for, making it a useful way to mark somebody.
Computer modelling suggests the DNA edit isn’t harmful, but human trials will be needed to confirm this.
