Creatures have emerged from underground seemingly without any facial features other than eyes.
Medical scans suggest the creatures feed by absorbing energy directly from a living victim via an unknown organ in their fingertips. They bear traces of the mutagen found in plants in the Murder Hornet anomaly, and the first Lamb Zombies found came from what were believed to be the corpses of people who had purchased and eaten lamb kebabs from the High Rollers, which turned out to be made from sheep that had eaten grass from within an anomaly. The mutagen passed from grass to sheep to human, and rather than die the humans went into a dormant state. They emerged from their graves as mindless predators.
Dr. Evie has done an analysis of some red pills that were found and determined that they are a more direct version of the mutation and contain the mutagen in a refined form. A human that takes a dose of these pills will fall into the dormant state and mutate into the so-called lamb zombies.
A full toxicology report on a lamb zombie corpse should be able to determine if it mutated as a result of consuming lamb or taking a course of the red pills.
