Churchgoers have been engaged in combat multiple times. Several of their soldiers are capable of regenerating wound damage, even from wounds that would fell most people.

They are armed well and heavily armoured. All equipment appears of uniform design and build, suggesting a corporate backer sourcing equipment from a single supplier, smuggled in. Factions formed within the Zone usually have very individualised equipment based on what was available for sale.

Every member wears a face covering, usually a black balaclava. Senior members seem to wear a rigid black face mask.
