Players will not be required to buy every meal they eat, those are included in the lifestyle costs paid during downtime. The prices given here are guidelines for buying and selling them as loot items. Noodles and cans acquired as loot can be used to reduce the downtime lifestyle cost by the amounts given above.
Bob find a case of 12 pot noodles and chooses to keep them. Instead of 3000c for living expenses, he now only pays 2760c next downtime.
