Scientific Skills
Cost represents the credits required to be trained in the skill during downtime. This can be ignored for the four starting skills.

| Data Gathering | The character knows how to use basic scientific apparatus and scanners in order to collect data and readings in the field. This skill is a requirement for many contracts and missions for the scientific teams. If you have this skill you scan any QR code marked DATA GATHERING. The QR code will give you a small piece of text that will explain what you can establish from your readings. | None | 1000c |
| Data Analysis | This skill allows a character to study data they have acquired and draw some basic implications from it. Some Data Gathering QR codes will tell you to speak to a ref if you have this skill. The ref will provide any extra information you can glean from the readings. | Data Gathering | 1500c |
| Biology | The character has the equivalent of a degree in biology. This skill allows you to scan Biology QR codes, can yield extra data from the Data Analysis skill and allows the character to contribute to scientific research projects that involve this discipline. | Data Analysis | 1800c |
| Chemistry | The character has the equivalent of a degree in chemistry. This skill allows you to scan Chemistry QR codes, can yield extra data from the Data Analysis skill and allows the character to contribute to scientific research projects that involve this discipline. | Data Analysis | 1800c |
| Physics | The character has the equivalent of a degree in physics. This skill allows you to scan Physics QR codes, can yield extra data from the Data Analysis skill and allows the character to contribute to scientific research projects that involve this discipline. | Data Analysis | 1800c |
| Mathematics | The character has the equivalent of a degree in mathematics. This skill allows you to scan Mathematics QR codes, can yield extra data from the Data Analysis skill and allows the character to contribute to scientific research projects that involve this discipline.
