The players have all been smuggled into the Zone by the same gang and brought to the Rutherford's Bar. This bar acts as the hub for all trade and activity in the immediate area around it. The bar is run by Ernest the Barkeep and his team and is open 24/7. They act as brokers for trade, bankers for everyone's credits and employment agencies for anyone needing freelancers to complete tasks. They will also arrange contracts to be taken out on individuals, act as an escrow service, and provide a home for people offering technical or medical services to ply their trade from.
All missions will be posted up on a noticeboard for all to see. A short briefing will be attached and any player wanting to go on that mission needs to add their character name onto it. If their reputation is too low for some reason their name will be crossed off by the Barkeep. Missions will go out at fixed times, anyone not ready at the appropriate time will not get to go. Players need to go and collect weapons about 15 minutes before the mission start time. Assuming they are at the Quartermaster's office in time, they will get onto the mission.
Missions will all have a player limit. Once that limit is reached no more people will be allowed on. If people drop out then the spaces will open up to people again. All mission lists will be taken down at the point people need to go and collect weapons and the players on that mission are fixed at that point. Failing to turn up invites reputation damage…
